Village-level meetings were organized (2nd – 29th June 2026) by the Malabar Social Service Society (MASSS) across various villages to review the progress of community-based programmes and strengthen local development initiatives. These meetings served as an important platform for engaging with community members, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Village Development Committees, and local leaders to assess the achievements and challenges of ongoing programmes. Participants discussed village-specific development needs, identified priority areas for future interventions, and explored strategies to enhance community participation and local leadership.
The meetings also emphasized collective responsibility, sustainable livelihoods, social inclusion, and the active involvement of community institutions in planning and implementing development initiatives. Through these interactive discussions, MASSS reaffirmed its commitment to promoting participatory, community-driven development and empowering rural communities to become active partners in their own development.
